1. Introduction
At Nidank ("we", "us", "our", "Platform"), your privacy and data sovereignty are exceptionally vital to us. We understand that clinical and pathological data is sensitive and strictly confidential. This Privacy Policy details the specific mechanisms regarding our handling of your lab's data.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register an account, we collect basic identifying metrics including name, email address, phone number, and pathology lab details.
Software Device Data: For license verification and binding, our backend tracks specific hardware identifiers (e.g. MAC address equivalents) explicitly and securely hashed without tracking any peripheral data.
3. Patient Data Processing (Offline First)
Our primary desktop architecture operates heavily offline. This guarantees that patient medical records, generated PDF reports, and localized billing information are strictly stored on your encrypted local hardware drives. We do not mirror, aggregate, or intercept your patient-level data.
4. Data Security
We implement robust technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. This includes end-to-end encryption for any data transmitted to our servers and secure multi-factor authentication for account access.
5. Third Party Integrations
When using the "Cloud Backup" feature, Nidank connects directly to Google Drive via secure OAuth frameworks. We securely transmit AES-256 encrypted archives of your database entirely to your own private Drive repository; we never transmit these archives to our internal servers.
